Linda and her husband adopted Precious when she was a very young kitten. Precious had been abandoned by her Mother and another Mother cat was nursing and caring for her. Linda has health problems and was looking for a kitten to love, care for, and take her mind off of her condition. We knew Precious had medical problems but we didn't know the extent. She appeared to be at least partially blind. We treated her with the medication that the vet recomended but her improvement was slow. We thought that the adorable kitten would not be very adoptable, due to her problems. She was very small and fragile. Linda fell in love with her instantly and kept her name Precious, telling us in several updates that it was the perfect name for her. It turns out that Precious can see and her eyes have gotten much better. Thankfully, Linda discovered that Precious also had a bowel problem. If it hadn't been treated, it could have been fatal. Linda had to go through quite an ordeal to get her new little baby in tip top shape. I am happy to report that both Precious and Linda have improved and are doing wonderfully.

Spunky is one of our miracle kitties. She rode in the engine of a car from Westminster, MD to Hagerstown, MD (over an hour drive) and was not harmed at all. We took her to the vet for an exam, got rid of the fleas and worms, had her vaccinated, and found her a new loving home.

Vianna has become a vital part of KitCat&Critter Rescue, Inc. by continuing to adopt kittens and cats from us, whenever she decides to add a new member to her family of critters.

She travels about an hour and a half to visit and adopt from us. In addition, she always finds the time to update us on how the animals are doing. Here's a pic of . He used to open the drawer with his paw and get in there to sleep when Vianna first adopted him.
